Coeducational schools or single-sex schools?

There are 2 points of view on educational society for children: some people are for single-sex education and some people are against. To my mind, pupils should study in a society with both genders: male and female. It is necessary, because children will socialize and comminicate with each other. But some parents disapprove this approach, because girls and boys should have different conditions to study effectively.
